S Balasubramanian Iyer known to many as B S Iyer, is a Post Graduate in Commerce and Law (University Rank Holder) and a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He was the Vice President (Legal) and Company Secretary of Bosch India (formerly MICO). He is currently a practicing corporate legal consultant for several MNCs and is on the Board of few Companies.

He believes in the adage “undersell and over-perform”. A traditionalist by nature he believes firmly in upholding traditions and core values. A meticulous planner he has seen many projects to its logical end.

His love for music drew him to SGBS Trust. He brings to the trust considerable legal and administrative expertise.

Krishna Murthy B is an Arts Graduate working in the Department of Defence accounts.

He brings to the Trust his rich experience as a traditionalist and helps to uphold the Bhajan Sampradaya. He has been associated with the Trust for over two decades.

Mahesh Ramakrishnan is a BE from University of Mysore and a MBA (PGDM) from IIM, Bangalore.

He retired from active corporate life (Vice-President of a Reputed Software Product Organization in Bangalore), to dedicate his energy and resource into social activities.

He now practices as an independent Business Advisor and Consultant.

S Mani is a retired Bank official, who has had an illustrious career with Imperial Bank which later became State Bank of India.

He hails from a family of music lovers and his association with the Trust began over a decade ago. He is involved keenly with the cultural activities of the Trust and is a source of great support in its general administration.

Narayanan A S also known as Ramdas, is the son of Sri S Anantraman, one of our former Trustees.

A rank holder in Printing Technology, he is managing a Flexible Packaging Plant by name MILAN PACKAGING for over two decades.

Drawing inspiration from the lives and teachings of the saints of Anandashram, he is deeply committed to improving the lot of the poor and less privileged. This brought him very close to the objectives of SGBS Trust.

He spends time regularly with the youths of Unnati, inspiring them to lead a purposeful life.

Natesan K V is a Commerce Graduate. He is presently Manager in Measurements and Controls India Ltd.

He is gifted with a wonderful voice and has an exemplary style of renderence. He has been associated with the Trust from its very inception.

Ramesh Swamy is the CEO of the Swamy group of companies.

Ramesh joined his father in business immediately on completion of his Bachelors degree in BE (Mech) from MACT,  Regional Engineering College, Bhopal. The business has grown considerably in the last few years, and today, handles the logistics management for companies such as Sanofi Aventis, Merck Ltd, Becton Dickenson, UCB, St.Jude and a few others for the state of Karnataka.

He has always had a deep-rooted involvement with Indian Culture and is passionate about helping to bring change in the lives of the underprivileged, as he firmly believes that only then will there be progress and overall societal development. This passion drove him to found SGBS Trust together with a few other like-minded people.

Ramesh has been involved in organizing events to promote art and culture for over two decades. He has been a source of inspiration and support to many young artistes. He constantly scouts for young talent and provides them a platform that will help launch their careers. 

SGBS Trust today provides educational support to about 360 underprivileged children every year and also, through Unnati, helps economically challenged youth find meaningful employment in specific vocations.

With strong leadership skills, an inspiring attitude and unbounded energy, Ramesh today is one of those few who have touched many lives in and around Bangalore

Ravindran K is a Graduate in Commerce and Law from Bangalore University. After working in the Sales and Accounts departments of reputed companies, he started his own printing business in the seventies.

He in deeply spiritual, interested in bhajans, music and Indian culture. He is dedicated to the cause of the under privileged and poor youths. He is involved in the Trust activities for more than twenty years.

B Sivakumar is an engineering graduate from REC, Trichy and is a VLSI Design Engineer by profession. He is working with WIPRO Technologies.

Son of a music teacher, he has a natural inclination for music, especially Carnatic music. The cultural activities of SGBS Trust attracted him to the Trust. Later on, the Trust's specific focus on empowering the poor through assistance for education through Unnati greatly influenced Sivakumar. He is engaged in the logistical activities of the Trust.

Susheela Venkataraman has pursued Masters in Physics and also completed a MBA. Earlier with ICIM, Coopers, PWC and IBM she is presently Director, Internet Business Solutions Group, Cisco.

She is a Carnatic music vocalist and has a deep interest in photography, painting and spirituality.
