The program

‘Poornodaya’ means complete blossoming of a child.

It is a program which enables a child:

• Make better and healthier choices in life.
• Face the achievements and challenges; and successes and failures of life.
• Grow through life, rather than go through life.
• Explore different facets of life, in its totality.

Methodology

• A full time Facilitator, duly trained and oriented, would:
• Inspire school managements to evolve into institutions which enable children become successful in life and contribute to the overall welfare of the society
• Motivate teachers to do all that they can to achieve the vision
• Involve the  parents in the entire process
• Interact with children on a regular basis to effectively implement the program

Facilitation process with children 

• Facilitator would:
• Provide an ambience where creativity and goodness can blossom
• Have informal and non-judgmental interactions in total freedom
• Provide an opportunity for children to express themselves without fear of being ridiculed
• Kindle thoughts and views rather than teach or preach, or impose own rights and wrongs
• Discuss real life issues and situations which are most relevant to children (in each particular age group)
