Chitravina (Ravikiran)

Sri Ravikiran, a titan in the realm of Carnatic music, gracing the stage promises extraordinary moments. Yesterday (28th Aug'23), was no exception, as a variety of pieces showcased his distinct class. His exceptional sensitivity towards the concert and its finer nuances is truly outstanding and exhilarating.

Kum. Akkarai Subhalakshmi on the violin emerges as a formidable presence in the field today. Her distinct responses to each nuance played by the main artist highlight her exceptional uniqueness.

Sri KV Prasad on the mridangam was in a state of sublime excellence, finely attuned to the main artist's mood and contributing significant value to the concert. Sri Sivaramakrishnan on the ghatam provided valuable support.

Sri Raghav, a student of Sri Ravikiran, provided vocal support primarily to familiarize the audience and the accompanying musicians with the lyrics of the kritis, particularly those composed by Sri Ravikiran and others.
