How we go about it
In India, the literacy levels are low, and even students / youth passing out of schools and colleges find it difficult to get a gainful employment as they lack vocational skills and employability.
The objective of Unnati program is to make the students “learn, earn and stand tall”. Unnati Bridges that gap between Success and Failure for this category of People.
We select school drop outs and orphans, give them 3 months’ intensive training on chosen vocations, together with imparting life skills, soft skills, spoken English,
computer skills and value systems. This prepares the youth to face life with a newly found confidence and skill sets and
makes them immediately employable.
Our selection process has the following 5 stages 1) Testing for Attitude 2) Testing for Aptitude
3) Verifying Family back ground 4) Counselling with parents/guardians 5) Medical exmination
Selection is done by a Team of professionals
During the 3 months training the students are exposed to learning vocational skills, soft skills and spoken english and basic computer skills.
Upon completion of the training each and every student is placed on a job in companies of repute (such as Fabmall, Food World, café coffee day, Pantaloon, Levi’s, Arvind Mills, ITC, Gokaldas images, Dusters). Companies come to our
facility, conduct interviews and select the studnets.
