Retail training includes Counter sales, Field Sales, and customer care operations for the entry level jobs. Training is provided by marketing professionals from the field with interactive sessions including demos and role play.

Placements are provided in malls such as Big Bazar, Brand Factory, Garuda Mall, Forum Mall and so on. Companies such as Café Coffee Day, Aubonpain, Mast-Kalandar, etc also hire Unnati Students.
The positions usually start as Sales Assistant, Team Member taking care of arranging products, assisting customers, billing and loading. Progress to supervisor, assistant manager, deputy manager, joint manager, Manager and so on.
Starting Salaries  range between Rs 4500 to 7000. Benefits such as PF, gratuity, and ESI are included. A few companies offer free accommodation along with food.
