Unnati – VK Job fair

Santosh Lad, Minister of State for Infrastructure and Information inaugurated the JOY job fair by Times of India group With the objective of giving a better life, especially to those in the 18-25 years age group, the two-day, ‘VK JOY’ job expo organized by Vijay Karnataka and Rotary Bangalore Cantonment kicked off here on May 25 . The initiative is supported by some non-profit organizations and individuals .
Ramesh Swamy, trustee of Bangalore based Unnati, a free vocational guidance centre, says the life of a person can be changed if he gets dedicated training. Gajendra, a native of Kolar being trained by Unnati, is looking at a future in marketing after he found that he could not continue with agriculture.
