I have been associated with Unnati since July 2013 as a volunteer.
Having worked in companies like SPIC and PPN Power as a Purchasing Manager, I joined Unnati in 2013 as a changemaker after completing the TOT programme. I conducted Life Skills and English sessions for students and was also deputed to the Unnati Jayanagar Branch for training sessions. In addition to conducting sessions, I was associated with the Facilities Division at Unnati. Currently, I am associated with UNEXT as a Programme Manager.
It gives me immense satisfaction to be a volunteer at Unnati.
I joined Unnati because I wanted to start giving back to my community in a personal way and also to build better relationships with the younger generation. The training opportunity Unnati provided was inspiring in itself. Volunteering has been enriching—meeting young and good people and giving as much of myself as I can. This experience has deepened my passion for volunteering, leadership, and impact-driven events. It reminded me that when we empower others, we grow too.
Personally, I am very thankful and grateful for the experiences I gained at Unnati. I did not only find a purpose in teaching the youth of our country, but I also understood that everyone can make a difference in society.
I appreciate and respect the commitment that Unnati demonstrates every day for the community. Volunteering with Unnati was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The team is incredibly dedicated, and their zeal for striving hard for improvement is inspiring. I would encourage anyone looking to make a difference to get involved with Unnati.
What is left to say is to thank everyone who is supporting this outstanding service to our country and investing an enormous amount of hours and effort to make Unnati what it is today—a happy and proud place to light a lamp in the lives of the youth of our country.
